The Same Two Prices, Written Four Ways
Here is one market shown in every format you will meet on a Malaysian book. Nothing differs but the notation; the money is identical.

Two rules unlock the lot. Hong Kong is simply your profit per 1 staked, which makes it decimal minus one. Malay and Indonesian flip sign once the profit passes even money: in Malay, negative is the longer price, and in Indonesian it is the shorter one. That inversion is the single most common misread on the board.
Where the Book's Cut Hides
Convert a price to a percentage by dividing one by the decimal odds. At 2.00 that is 50%. At 1.90 it is 52.6%. Now do both sides of an even market priced 1.90 and 1.90: the implied chances come to 105.3%.
Probabilities cannot add to more than 100%, so those 5.3 points are not a forecast — they are the margin. Every sportsbook anywhere works this way, and the only meaningful question is how many points sit above 100. Tighter markets carry fewer. It is the direct equivalent of the house edge published for our live tables, and unlike the tables it varies from market to market, so it is worth the ten seconds it takes to check.
The Handicap, Plainly
A handicap adds or removes goals before settlement so that a lopsided contest can be priced near even money. Backing a team at −1.5 means they must win by two clear goals. At +1.5 you are fine with a draw or a one-goal defeat.
Quarter lines — −0.25, −0.75 — split your stake across the two nearest whole and half lines, which is why one of those bets can come back as a half win or a half loss. Nothing has gone wrong when that happens; it is the line doing exactly what it says.

No, it changes the result you need. A -1.5 handicap means your team must win by two or more for the bet to land, regardless of who eventually lifts the trophy.
What happens to my bet if the match is abandoned?
Settlement follows the rules of the market you took, which are shown with the bet. Void returns your stake; markets already decided at the point of abandonment may stand. Check the rule before you place, not after.
